一、 总体介绍
“剑桥国际高中课程”(General Certificate of Education Advanced Level) 简称A-level课程,成立于1858年,是英国的全民高中课程。
目前在全球范围内,遍布160个国家的超过10000所高中开设了AL课程。有195个国家约2100所大学认可A Level课程,这其中包含超过800所美国大学和许多非英语国家大学。

二、 ICC的A Level课程
ICC共开设 14 门可选的A Level 课程:AS国际视野研究、数学、进阶数学、物理、化学、生物、计算机、商学、经济学、音乐、艺术设计、设计与技术、中文、剑桥IPQ。学生可根据自己的兴趣爱好以及未来的专业发展方向,选择适合自己的“选课套餐”,形成完全个性化的课表。
以下是我校开设的A Level课程:
1 Art and Design
Overview:
Art and Design (Syllabus Code 9479) fosters creativity and independent thinking through practical exploration and critical analysis of art. Students experiment with various media, including painting, sculpture, and digital tools, and develop skills in presenting, documenting, and critically evaluating their work and that of others.

Psychology (9990) examines human behaviour and mental processes. Students explore cognitive psychology, social influences, biological bases of behaviour, and mental health. The course highlights research methods, ethical considerations, and real-world applications of psychological theories.

剑桥IPQ (Cambridge International Project Qualification)是剑桥大学国际考评部CAIE于2019年推出的一项新的资质证书项目,旨在为学生创造更多的机会培养大学学习所必备的各项学习技能,为学生未来取得成功助力。剑桥IPQ是基于研究的独立资格证书项目,面向16至19岁的学生。学生可在学习剑桥国际AS & A Level课程的同时学习剑桥IPQ。ICC的A Level项目,在高二学年,将IPQ项目与研究性学习相结合,针对自己选择的课题开展独立研究,安排专业教师为学生提供所需的支持,并要求学生在分析、评估和综合研究发现后提交一份5000字的研究报告。ICC开设的IPQ(项目式学习)课程面向全体A Level学生开放。学生可根据自己意愿提出申请,经过筛选后分配指导教师进行一对一免费指导,并有机会通过剑桥大学CAIE考试认证。
申请英国和加拿大大学的同学,建议谨慎对待选课。有些大学的网站会明确公布,哪些专业需要A Level申请者选择什么学科,需要考到什么样的等级。
例如,剑桥大学工程专业就要求AL申请者至少要获得 A*A*A,而且三科中必须包含数学和物理, 最好有A Level进阶数学。牛津大学工程专业要求AL申请者至少要获得 A*A*A,而且三科中必须包含数学和物理或A Level进阶数学;数学和物理或者进阶数学必须得考到A*。
A Level学生在完成高一学业后会面临选课,届时请咨询校内升学指导老师或查阅英国、加拿大等国大学网站。
ICC从2004年起开设AL课程,迄今已积累了近20年宝贵的教学和管理经验。从办学伊始,ICC就是剑桥大学考评委员会授权的考试中心,学生可在校内报名和参加考试,并获得剑桥国际课程证书,与英国及英联邦国家本土高中生在同一电子平台UCAS申请大学。ICC每年给学生开放两次CIE考试机会,一次在春季,另一次在秋季。
A Level课程的评估方式以卷面考试为主,部分学科需要提交作品集,比如:音乐、艺术和设计、设计和技术。实验类学科的评估方式除了卷面考试还有实验动手操作。
申请英国大学的AL学生,至少要选3门AL课程,学有余力的学生可以选到4-5门甚至6门。每门AL课程都需要2年的时间来完成。具体来说,AL课程的两年学习分为两个阶段:第一年叫AS阶段(在ICC是高二学年),第二年叫A2阶段(在ICC是高三学年)。AS阶段学习完成后,在高二下学期会有英国剑桥大学考评委员会安排的AS阶段考试。A2阶段学习完成后,在高三下学期会有英国剑桥大学考评委员会安排的A2阶段考试。这两次大考全都考完后,剑桥大学考试委员会给出一个由AS和A2叠加产生的总成绩并授予相应证书。
成绩特别优异的学生还会获得剑桥大学委员会颁发的《剑桥卓越学子大奖》,表彰奖励在各个学科位于全中国,甚至全球领先的学生。
申请季一般从高三上学期开始。这时A Level学生尚未完成全部A Level学业,也未参加A2阶段CAIE大考。这时如果获得大学offer绝大多数是“有条件录取Offer”,特别是英国及英联邦国家(如澳大利亚,新西兰或者爱尔兰),这些国家会对A Level最终成绩有明确的成绩要求。等到A2考完A Level最终成绩出分后,才能确定是否能拿到这些大学的最终录取Offer。无论申请到哪个国家的offer,学生们必须重视最终的A Level考试。

中外项目从 2020 年秋季学期开始试行开设特色研修课。经过一个学期的尝试与调整,在充分调动项目自有师资的基础上,中外项目联合本部高中、早培及部分校外专家,同时开放学校系列高端实验室资源,正式启动了项目特色研修课程。目前,研修课已经开设覆盖工程技术、科学、人文、艺术、语言文学、数学、体育运动和跨学科等八大学科门类 60余种研修课程,并按照课程目标分为荣誉类、拓展类等不同类型。
研修课上课时间为:高一每周下午和每周四下午共两个半天,高二学生只有每周四下午一个半天。研修课为所有学生必选必修。每学期的研修课略有微调。
2022春季学期起开始,每周二的高一特色研修课拓展为:高一研修课+名家讲坛(每月一次),帮助高一年级学生迅速适应中外项目学习并找到适合自己的学术与科研发展道路。
系列研修课开设了很多重要的国际STEM学科竞赛课,例如:
1 国际信息学竞赛
提供学生参赛所需的各类课程教学资源,帮助学生学习并准备信息学竞赛,相关比赛包括:NOIP(中国)、USACO(美国)、CCC(加拿大)等国家队选拔比赛,以及蓝桥杯、京东编程与算法设计大赛、百度AI算法大赛、CF算法比赛等。
2 美国数学竞赛 (AMC10)
主要教学内容有:Algebra: Exponents and Logarithms,Complex Numbers and Linear Equations,Proportions,Using Integers,Quadratic Equations,Rational and Irrational numbers,Geometry: Triangles,Quadrilaterals,Polygons,etc.
3 美国数学竞赛 (AMC12)
主要教学内容有:Cyclic Quadrilaterals, Conics,Polynomials,Vectors and Matrices,Analytic Geometry,Combinatorics,Sequences and Series,Number Theory,etc.
4 国际物理竞赛(中级)
教授Mathematics for Physics,Motion,Circular motion and Gravity 等内容,帮助学生为参加英国、美国、加拿大物理竞赛做准备。
5 国际物理竞赛(高级)
进一步加强物理学习,帮助学生备考PUPC(Physics Unlimited Premier Competition美国普林斯顿大学物理思维挑战赛), BPHO(British Physics Olympiad英国物理奥林匹克竞赛) ROUND2,ASO(Australian Science Olympiads澳大利亚物理奥林匹克竞赛)等高阶国际物理竞赛。
6 数学建模与竞赛
主要教学内容有:建模的过程、比例性、几何相似性,离散概率模型,实验建模,统计建模,数学建模与人工智能等。通过师生交互式探究性学习,通过实践积累建模经验,为国内外各项数学建模大赛做准备。
7 国际化学竞赛
主要教学内容有:熵和焓,盖斯定律,吉布斯自由能和自发性,反应速率定律,玻尔兹曼分布,活化能,催化剂,反应机理,酸碱平衡,共轭酸碱,缓冲溶液,滴定和指示剂,醛和酮,酸和酯,胺,苯和酚等。着眼于竞赛真题,立足于无机化学、有机化学、物理化学和分析化学四大模块核心知识点,深挖学科底层逻辑,培养学科思维,提升竞赛实力。相关比赛包括:IChO(国际化学奥林匹克),UKChO(英国化学奥林匹克竞赛),CCC(加拿大化学竞赛)等。
为帮助学生提高英语能力,系列研修课开设了一些大学英语教学内容,例如:
1 交替传译
以国家二级口译职业考试为依托,以会议口译为内容,让学生对于交替口译的职业模式、能力要求、沟通语境等有所了解,对交替口译树立正确的练习方法,并以此推动学生进行有效的口语表达。
2 英语素养研修-口语
根据托福考试的要求,帮助学生提高口语水平。
3 英文电影研究
主要教学内容有:Basic film terminology; scene analysis; Understanding and analyzing camera techniques and cinematography; film direction;editing; scene & review analysis etc.
对于有小语种需求的学生,目前开设了西班牙语。未来还可能开设德语、法语等。
为帮助学生提高实验操作能力,更好的对实验类学科融会贯通,系列研修课还开设了专门的实验课:
1 生活中的化学
2 AP化学实验
3 生物实验技能
下学期还将开设《科学史》这门课,帮助学生更好的理解古往今来,从宏观到微观的科学世界。
“名家讲坛”与科研实践系列课程是 2021年秋季学期起由人大附中中外合作办学项目和早培项目联袂推出的面向高一年级的学术实践项目。旨在从高中起始阶段向学生介绍各行业领域的前沿发展状况,开阔学生视野、引领学生思考个人发展方向,启发、引导学生对个人感兴趣的学术或行业领域进行初步探索实践,并为学生实践提供相关资源与实践指导。
项目以“名家讲坛”为发端,邀请各大高校、科研院所的资深专家及科技、社会、人文等相关行业领域领军人物为学生做主题讲座,打开学生学科视野,激发学生求知欲和科研内驱力。
项目中期阶段,所有学生依据讲座梳理挖掘个人感兴趣的 1-2 个领域课题进行深入反思,形成个人或小组研究探索项目并进行开题汇报,在这个过程中,教师会对学生的思考反馈内容进行分析评估,同时进行学术研究方法与规范方面的指导以及分组点评指导。
开题后学生以个人或小组为单位,对所选题目进行深入探索与实践,学校为学生联系匹配校内外专家或相关资源进行长线指导。

为使学生能够更充分了解中外合作办学项目的项目文化、课程体系及培养模式,尽早为国际课程学习及个人发展规划做准备, ICC 在 2021 年夏季首次推出了新生暑期学校活动。暑期学校历时8 天,精心设计安排了科学、工程、人文、艺术等各领域的课程与活动,学生开阔了学科视野,拓展了对学科门类的认识,也初步感受到了探究式课堂与项目式学习的魅力以及高端实验室的神奇。
夏校是专属的小班课,每班班额一般不超过25人。
教学内容覆盖三大国家课程项目,涵盖学科核心方法及思维特征,任课教师均为中外骨干教师。
